First Stop Learning Hub is an online CPD training platform operated by First Stop Safety Training, providing online learning, CPD-accredited courses and downloadable training resources for childcare providers, organisations, councils and workplace teams across the United Kingdom.
By accessing or using the First Stop Learning Hub platform, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
2. Use of the Platform
The First Stop Learning Hub platform is intended for professional learning and staff development purposes.
Users must:
- Use the platform lawfully and responsibly
- Keep login details secure
- Not share accounts outside of their organisation or setting
- Not copy, reproduce or distribute course materials without permission
- Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the operation of the platform
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where misuse of the platform is identified.
3. Subscription Access
Subscriptions are purchased per setting or organisation unless otherwise agreed. A subscription allows authorised staff members within that setting or organisation to access the Learning Hub and included courses during the active subscription period. The number of users permitted may vary depending on the subscription agreement.
4. Free Trial Access
New subscribers may receive a 90-day free trial period. During the trial period, settings will have access to the available courses and resources included within the platform. Access may be withdrawn if the platform is misused or if these Terms & Conditions are breached.
5. Course Availability
Courses and resources available within the Learning Hub may change over time. We may:
- Add new courses
- Update existing courses
- Amend course content
- Remove courses where necessary
We aim to continually expand and improve the platform for subscribers.
6. Accreditation
Courses listed as CPD accredited have been reviewed and approved by the relevant accreditation body at the time of publication. Accreditation status and expiry dates may change over time.
7. Certificates
Certificates are issued following successful completion of courses and assessments where applicable. Certificates must not be altered, copied or used fraudulently.
8. Intellectual Property
All content contained within the First Stop Learning Hub platform, including videos, interactive activities, downloadable resources, course materials, graphics, branding and documents, remains the intellectual property of First Stop Safety Training unless otherwise stated. Materials may not be reproduced, redistributed or resold without prior written permission.
9. Payment & Renewals
Subscription fees, billing arrangements and renewal terms are outlined within our Cancellation & Subscription Policy. By subscribing to the platform, you agree to the billing and renewal terms stated within that policy.
10. Platform Availability
We aim to ensure the platform is available at all times; however, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, software updates, or third-party hosting or provider interruptions. We are not liable for temporary downtime beyond our reasonable control.
11. Limitation of Liability
While we make every effort to ensure course content is accurate and up to date, First Stop Learning Hub and First Stop Safety Training accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on course content, technical interruptions, misuse of the platform, or indirect or consequential losses. It remains the responsibility of each organisation and learner to ensure training is implemented appropriately within their own setting.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the website and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

Cancellation & Subscription Policy
Free Trial Period
New settings joining the First Stop Learning Hub will receive a 90-day free trial period from the date access is granted. During this time, settings will have full access to the Learning Hub and all included courses.
Cancellation During the Free Trial
There is no obligation to continue after the free trial. If you do not wish to continue your subscription, we ask that you notify us in writing at least 30 days before the end of your free trial period.

If sufficient notice is provided, no payment will be taken and access to the platform will end at the conclusion of the trial period.
Annual Subscription
If cancellation notice is not received at least 30 days before the end of the free trial, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid annual subscription at a cost of £199 + VAT per setting per year. Payment will be processed automatically using the payment method provided at sign-up.
Automatic Renewal
Annual subscriptions automatically renew each year to ensure uninterrupted access to the Learning Hub and course library. Renewal payments will be processed automatically using the payment details held on file unless cancellation notice is provided.
Cancelling an Annual Subscription
To cancel an annual subscription and prevent renewal for the following year, settings must provide at least 30 days written notice prior to the renewal date. Access to the Learning Hub will remain active until the end of the current subscription period.
Failed Payments
If a subscription payment cannot be processed, access to the platform may be temporarily suspended until payment issues are resolved. We reserve the right to terminate accounts with unpaid or overdue subscription fees.
Payment Details
Payment information is securely processed and stored through our payment provider. First Stop Learning Hub and First Stop Safety Training do not store or have direct access to full card or banking details.
Changes to Pricing
We reserve the right to amend subscription pricing in the future. Subscribers will be provided with reasonable notice prior to any pricing changes taking effect.

Refund Policy
Subscription Refunds
As the First Stop Learning Hub includes immediate access to digital training content and downloadable resources, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a paid subscription period has started.
Free Trial Period
Users are encouraged to fully explore the platform during the 90-day free trial period before the annual subscription begins. If cancellation notice is provided during the trial period in line with the Cancellation & Subscription Policy, no payment will be taken.
Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of First Stop Safety Training.
